KAS Group ("we," "our," or "us") operates the FTP Server - Wifi Transfer mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. Information Collection and Use

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from our users. The app is designed to function as a local utility for file management.

While using our Service, we do not ask you to provide us with any personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.

Our Service may collect information that your browser or device sends automatically. This is primarily handled by third-party services (see Section 4).

2. File Access and Storage

The core functionality of the Service is to provide a local FTP server to transfer files between your mobile device and other devices over a local network.

  • Local Processing: All file transfers occur over your local network. Your files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud storage by this application.
  • Permissions: To function, the app requires the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission. This allows you to select any folder on your device as the FTP root directory. We only access the folders you specifically interact with via the FTP protocol.

3. Device Permissions

To provide the Service, we request the following permissions:

  • Internet & Wifi State: Used to create the local FTP server and identify your IP address for connection.
  • Storage Access: Necessary to read and write files as requested by the FTP client.
  • Foreground Service: Used to keep the FTP server active during large file transfers when the app is in the background.
  • Notifications: Used to show the server status in the notification shade.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party Service Providers to facilitate our Service and to show advertisements.

Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect and use information such as:

  • IP address
  • Advertising ID
  • Device information (model, OS version)

5. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. Remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. However, since our Service operates primarily on your local network, your data is as secure as your own private Wifi connection.

We recommend using the Username and Password feature in the app settings to prevent unauthorized access to your files by others on the same network.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
