Grow my money

Privacy Policy

Effective 12 September 2026 · Last updated 12 September 2026

This is the short version, and it is also the whole version. Grow my money was built so that it does not need to know anything about you. Nothing you type into the app is ever sent anywhere.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Android application Grow my money (package name kas.growmymoney), published by KAS Group Apps. In this policy, "the app" means that application and "we" means KAS Group Apps.

Information you give us

None. The app has no sign-up, no login, no account and no contact form. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or any document.

Every figure you enter, such as an amount you plan to save, a loan you are repaying, your income or your tax rate, is used only to work out the answer shown on your screen. It stays on your device. It is not uploaded, not backed up to us, and not visible to us or to anyone else.

Information stored on your device

So the app remembers how you like it, the following is saved in the app's own private storage on your phone:

WhatWhy
Your settings, such as light or dark theme, your tax rate and the rate of price rises you assumeSo results match your situation without you setting them up again each time
The tools you saved with the starSo your saved list is there when you return
The tools you opened recentlySo you can get back to one quickly
Your answers to the three questions shown when you first open the appSo the app can suggest tools that suit you

This information never leaves your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes it. You can also clear it at any time from Settings → Reset everything inside the app.

Advertising

The app is free and is paid for by advertising. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob, which is a Google service.

To show an ad and to count it, Google may collect and use:

  • your device's advertising identifier, which is a resettable ID that does not carry your name;
  • your approximate location, worked out from your internet connection rather than from GPS;
  • technical details about your device, such as its model, operating system version and language;
  • information about ads you were shown and whether you interacted with them.

That collection happens inside Google's systems, not ours. We never send Google, or any advertiser, anything you typed into the app. Your amounts, rates and answers are not used to target ads and are not shared.

Google may use the information above to choose ads it expects to be relevant to you, which is usually called ad personalisation. This is done by Google using signals it already holds, not from anything this app collects about you.

You can switch this off at any time, and ads will still work. On your phone, open Settings → Google → All services → Ads and turn on the option to opt out of ad personalisation. The same screen lets you reset or delete your advertising identifier, which clears the history associated with it.

How Google uses data from apps that use its services is described in Google's privacy and terms.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your information, because we do not have any to sell.
  • We do not have analytics, crash reporting or tracking in the app.
  • We do not connect to your bank, and we never ask for banking passwords or one-time passcodes. If anything ever asks you for those in our name, it is not us.
  • We do not build a profile of you.
  • We do not send you marketing messages, because we have no way to contact you.

A word on safety. The app includes tools for checking whether an investment offer is realistic. We will never contact you to recommend an investment, ask you to transfer money, or offer to manage your savings. Treat any message claiming otherwise as fraudulent.

Permissions the app uses

The app requests access to the internet. That is used for one thing only: loading ads. Every calculation works with no connection at all.

Children

The app is intended for adults managing their own money and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. As explained above, the app does not collect personal information from anyone.

Security

Because your figures never leave your device, there is no server of ours that could be breached and no database of user information to steal. What is stored sits in the app's private storage, which Android keeps separate from other apps. Keeping your phone locked with a PIN, pattern or biometric remains the most useful protection.

Your rights

Privacy laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, give you rights to see, correct and delete personal information held about you. In this case there is nothing for us to show, correct or delete, because we hold nothing.

For the information stored on your own phone, you are in direct control: Settings → Reset everything clears it, and uninstalling the app removes it. For the advertising identifier, your phone's Google Ads settings let you reset or delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it and the updated version appears here. Where a change materially affects how your information is handled, we will say so in the app as well.

Contact

Questions about privacy can go to kasgroupapps@gmail.com.

Not financial advice

The app performs arithmetic on figures you enter. It does not know your circumstances and it does not give investment, tax or legal advice. Tax rules and government scheme rates change, so check anything important against the official source or a qualified adviser before acting on it.
