Privacy Policy — Arrows Out

This policy explains what Arrows Out ("the app", "we") does with information when you play. Arrows Out is published by KAS Group Apps. If anything here is unclear, email us at kasgroupapps@gmail.com.

The short version. We do not ask for your name, email or any account. Your puzzle progress stays on your own device. The only information that leaves your device is what the Google AdMob advertising service needs in order to show an ad.

Information we collect ourselves

None. Arrows Out has no sign-up, no login, no user profile and no server of our own. We cannot see who you are or how you play.

Information stored on your device

The app saves a single settings file on your device so the game remembers where you were. It contains:

Which levels you have finished and the stars you earned
Counters such as levels cleared, arrows freed, hearts lost and time played
Your hint count
Your chosen settings, such as volume, theme, vibration and text size

This file never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. You can erase it at any time from Settings → Reset progress, or by uninstalling the app.

Advertising

Arrows Out shows ads supplied by Google AdMob so the game can stay free. Ads appear between levels, and you may choose to watch an ad in return for a hint or an extra chance after losing. To deliver those ads, the Google Mobile Ads software collects limited technical information such as your device type, operating system version and approximate region. It does not receive an advertising identifier from this app, for the reason explained below.

We do not receive that information. It is handled by Google under its own policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Arrows Out is made for players of every age, including children, so we apply the strictest setting to everyone rather than trying to guess a player's age. Every ad request is marked as child-directed and limited to a G content rating. That means ads are never personalised using a profile of the player, and only family-appropriate advertisements are eligible.

Because of this, the app does not use the Android advertising identifier. We have removed that permission from the app entirely, along with the permissions used for interest-based ad targeting.

Children's privacy

Arrows Out is intended for a general audience of all ages, and it is appropriate for players under the age of 13. We take that seriously.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not ask any player for a name, email address, photograph, contact list or location.
There is no chat, no messaging and no way for players to contact each other.
Advertising is restricted to non-personalised, G-rated content as described above.
The app does not use or transmit an advertising identifier for any player.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at kasgroupapps@gmail.com and we will act promptly. Because the app stores nothing on our side, uninstalling the app or using Reset progress removes all stored data immediately.

Notifications

If you switch notifications on in Settings, the app schedules reminder messages on your device, for example to tell you a level is waiting or that a free hint is available. These are created locally by the app. No message is sent from a server and no information about you is transmitted in order to deliver them. You can turn them off in Settings or in your device's notification settings at any time.

Permissions the app requests

Internet and network state — only to load ads.
Vibration — for the small haptic tap when an arrow moves. You can turn this off in Settings.
Notifications — only if you enable reminders.

The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or precise location.

Analytics

Arrows Out does not include any analytics or crash-reporting service.

Keeping and deleting information

Since we hold nothing about you, there is nothing for us to delete on request. Data kept on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or tap Reset progress. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, please refer to Google's policy linked above.

Links to other services

The app can open your browser to reach this policy, our terms, the Play Store listing or your email app. Once you leave the app, the privacy policy of that other service applies.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date shown at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's Play Store release notes.
